The Journey to Shatter Our Idols

Monday Mass. 5.19.25.

In this homily, I explore why it was so difficult for people to recognize the lordship of Jesus and how this struggle continues in our lives today. Reflecting on the actions of Paul and Barnabas, and the persistent idolatry among the Israelites, I highlight how material things, relationships, and personal desires can become idols that take precedence over God. By addressing and relinquishing these idols in prayer, we allow God to take His rightful place in our lives. This spiritual journey is a continuous process of daily conversion and seeking God above all else.
