Finding God: A Story of Hope and Transformation

Sunday Mass. 2.09.25.

In this homily, I recount a moving encounter at my old church in 2021 with a desperate couple seeking spiritual guidance. The wife, a lapsed Catholic diagnosed with cancer, and her non-Christian husband found hope through an Alpha program that reintroduced them to the basics of the Christian faith. Witnessing their transformation and renewed sense of God's love, we reflect on the deeper meaning of faith and the life-changing impact of truly encountering Jesus, just as Peter did when he left everything to follow Him.
