5/20/26: Entrusted with Everything

Wednesday Mass. 5.20.26.

In this homily, I reflect on St. Paul's farewell to the bishops and priests of Ephesus and Jesus' final prayer to the Father in John 17. The Church was bought with a price — the price of blood — and we are called to never forget what our faith cost. Jesus entrusts us to the Father and sends us into the world, not to belong to it, but to give our lives away in service, sacrifice, and love.
